Warranty Policy

Thank you for choosing PineTHOW. Every tiny home we build is crafted with care, high-quality materials, and professional workmanship. This warranty outlines what is covered, what is not, and how to request service should an issue arise. Please review it carefully before and after receiving your tiny home.

1. Warranty Coverage Overview

PineTHOW provides a limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and begins on the date of delivery.

Covered components include:

1.1 Structural Components

  • Framing
  • Walls and sheathing
  • Subfloor and flooring structure
  • Roof structure and roofing installation

Covered for 10 years from the date of delivery.

1.2 Craftsmanship

Covers workmanship issues related to:

  • Interior and exterior finishing
  • Built-in cabinetry
  • Trim work
  • Installed fixtures

Covered for 10 years.

1.3 Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems

Covers failures due to installation defects in:

  • Furnace/AC (if installed by PineTHOW)
  • Electrical wiring
  • Fresh water, grey water, and plumbing connections

Covered for 5 years.

1.4 Appliances

Appliances supplied or installed by PineTHOW (refrigerator, stove, mini-split, water heater, etc.) are protected under manufacturer warranties, not the PineTHOW warranty.
We assist in connecting you with the manufacturer for service.

2. Exclusions — What Is Not Covered

The following items are not covered under the PineTHOW warranty:

  • Damage caused by weather, natural disasters, or environmental conditions
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
  • Cosmetic issues such as:
    • Scratches
    • Paint variations
    • Minor dents
    • Wear and tear
  • Damage caused by third-party modifications or repairs
  • Issues arising from the tiny home being moved after initial delivery
  • Damage due to improper setup, leveling, anchoring, or site conditions

Additionally, custom-built homes are not eligible for return, but they are covered under the warranty where applicable.

3. Warranty Claim Process

To file a claim, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at: contact@pinethow.com
  2. Include:
    • Your name
    • Order number
    • Delivery date
    • A detailed explanation of the issue
    • Photos or videos clearly showing the defect
  3. Our team will review your claim within 3–5 business days.
  4. If approved, we will coordinate inspection, repair, replacement, or the shipment of parts.

4. Remedies

Depending on the type of issue, PineTHOW may:

  • Repair the defective component
  • Replace the defective component
  • Provide replacement parts at no cost
  • Recommend approved service providers if on-site work is required

The method of remedy is at PineTHOW’s discretion.

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will notify you before any repair decision is made.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To keep your warranty valid:

  • Tiny home must be properly supported, leveled, and maintained.
  • No unauthorized modifications or structural changes may be made.
  • Routine maintenance must be performed (caulking, cleaning, weather-proofing, etc.).
  • Home must be protected from extreme weather when necessary.

6. Limitations of Liability

  • PineTHOW is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
  • Warranty coverage is limited to repair or replacement of defective items only.
  • The maximum liability is the original purchase price of the tiny home.

7. Non-Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred if the home is sold or given to another party.
